Summary

The eighth realm, the unpassable realm。

The eighth realm doesn’t stand as a realm onto itself, but as a question。

Why do you fight?

Merely gaining levels, and having a higher cultivation isn’t enough to pass the eighth realm’s test into the ninth realm。 Find your truth, understand your reason, only then can you pass the eighth realm。

It might be Erik and Rugrat’s hardest challenge yet。

Heart of the matterWe are finally getting into the heart of it。 What a ride so far and still so much to come!!

Too shortFelt like it was rushed, we just go from one place to the next with no fanfare。 So much a lack of story here, I could see so much more potential that could have happened。Loved the previous books, but very disappointed on how this book went。 From the reviews the next book seems to be much the same。 If book 12 is like 10 & 11, then I believe I will step away from the series。 Not going to purchase books I can't enjoy。 Too shortFelt like it was rushed, we just go from one place to the next with no fanfare。 So much a lack of story here, I could see so much more potential that could have happened。Loved the previous books, but very disappointed on how this book went。 From the reviews the next book seems to be much the same。 If book 12 is like 10 & 11, then I believe I will step away from the series。 Not going to purchase books I can't enjoy。 。。。more

Once again a superb taleEric and Rugrat finally made it out of the violet realm and made some allies on the way。 Their time there allowed them to answer the great question, Why do you fight? They finally healed themselves from the dungeon core that they absorbed when it exploded。 The next adventure awaits them in the ninth realm。 Read the ten realms today, you won’t be sorry, it’s an awesome story。

One of the lows in the seriesThe series always had some glaring holes but? it's fun if you don't think about them。 But this book had the most fake characters introduced so far One of the lows in the seriesThe series always had some glaring holes but? it's fun if you don't think about them。 But this book had the most fake characters introduced so far 。。。more

Finally! Less military sci-fi and more litrpg! Finally some good old dungeon hunting and less human warfare。 Looking forward sees what the next books take on。 But please, substitute the word snarled with one of its other definitions throughout the books。 I counted 12 uses of the word in less than 10 pages。 Other than that。 Keep up the good writing!

Epicly awesome series and books I love these books and series as a whole each one captures my attention and has me waiting for the next thing to transpire。 The characters development and progression is a steady stream of information as they grow stronger and the side characters capture the zest of life the Alvans have for their home。

not my most favorite book。Book 10 - eighth realm has a very flimsy start to a story line of betrayal within the Sha。 The start of the book is extremely out of character from the other books and frankly it’s hard to believe in。 Although the author tightens it up in the middle。 The storyline is still so flimsy it wasn’t totally salvageable for me。 It needs more to make it both reasonably and enjoyable。The coup falls flat because it relies on too many people being absolutely stupid。 Not to mention not my most favorite book。Book 10 - eighth realm has a very flimsy start to a story line of betrayal within the Sha。 The start of the book is extremely out of character from the other books and frankly it’s hard to believe in。 Although the author tightens it up in the middle。 The storyline is still so flimsy it wasn’t totally salvageable for me。 It needs more to make it both reasonably and enjoyable。The coup falls flat because it relies on too many people being absolutely stupid。 Not to mention the many instances where best friends/family would rather murder each other than actually talk。 The grief stricken mother mute who is so obsessed with learning about who killed her husband that she allows her entire family to crumble。 We the readers have to believe that she would rather listened to and watched her son tear apart their country and clan on the off chance she would catch the true culprit? Sorry, it’s fantasy not stupidity。The author did setup the big bad guy menace to take the place of the sects。 Virtually guaranteeing an Alva showdown apocalyptic battle。 Which only lasted a one chapter at the end。 So the fake out turns out to be the author using his trade mark plot line of miss understanding between the upper class and the earthers where we all know the upper class will be astonished to find out the earthers are more than what they look。 Who could have thunk this up? Same old same old。 。。。more

It’s like he finally got an editor! An action packed book that didn’t have to have chapters dedicated to exposition! Much tighter than previous books。 Well done。

To everybody who made it to this point in the series I ask: can you recall what happened in book 6, 7, & 8? Nothing right? This drags on with no new concepts, no more crafting, no more body cultivations, and an inconsistent rising number of terms to define the skill levels。 And an absurd uncontrolled powercreep in the manastone levels rendering all the lower realms obsolete, I don't think there'll be a creative genius breakthrough that will end this trend, and I might as well call it quits here。 To everybody who made it to this point in the series I ask: can you recall what happened in book 6, 7, & 8? Nice readGood continuation of the series but a bit slow。 Overall it feels flat。 Seems like the link to the next book, more about plot development。

Pretty goodGreat series! Eben better when you skip over the stat sheets。 They got a little repetitive in some books。 However, I am eagerly awaiting more in this series。 Keep them coming!

Mostly good things to say。。。worth the read。There are a few typos and grammatical errors。。。nothing major。 I love the story and am binge reading the series。 According to my kindle, I started last week。 I put these on par with the Nate Temple series。 Engaging and fun to read, occasional laughs, occasional tears。。。 hard to put down, just read them already。

A bit better than anything since book three。 Some actual plot development。 But the book just abruptly ends。 The last paragraph is maybe the end of a chapter, not an installment of a series。Barely eeks out a three。 The writing still hasn't improved on a technical or storytelling level。 I noticed fewer typos and less skimming of entirely pointless chapters。 A bit better than anything since book three。 Some actual plot development。 But the book just abruptly ends。 The last paragraph is maybe the end of a chapter, not an installment of a series。Barely eeks out a three。 The writing still hasn't improved on a technical or storytelling level。 I noticed fewer typos and less skimming of entirely pointless chapters。 。。。more

The Ten Realms I have thoroughly enjoyed reading this series。 When I started reading the first book it was non stop, book after book until I finished reading them。 Each book was unique in and of itself。 Following Eric and Rugrat as they learned and built themselves and the people of Avia until they became a power of their own。 Highly recommend this book。

Enjoyable story, needs editingStoryline was great, nicely wrapped up the major plots from the series。 I like the background info about the Ten Realms that we are getting。There needs to be more review and editing done。 This book is much better than previous books in the series, but the number of grammatical errors, typos, and bungled corrections is distracting。 This won't keep me from reading the next books! I hope they continue to improve。 Enjoyable story, needs editingStoryline was great, nicely wrapped up the major plots from the series。 I like the background info about the Ten Realms that we are getting。There needs to be more review and editing done。 This book is much better than previous books in the series, but the number of grammatical errors, typos, and bungled corrections is distracting。 This won't keep me from reading the next books! Great addition to the seriesI'm kinda hit or miss with both MCs struggling for most of the book but it did show a story that was able to cover the premise of the 8th realm, and the story is fantastic。 As always, keep up the great storytelling! Waiting for the Rest!So I’m just going to throw it out there, but where are the other main/sub character stat sheets? I know it’s a lot of information to write out/read through but I’m very curious to know what Rugrat’s stats are and hopefully I’m not the only one! Other then that minor detail; lol! There were little to no grammar issues, just small stuff through the last couple of books。 World building was very good and detailed! I enjoyed books 1-10 and I can’t wait to read about the rest of the realms。 。。。more

good plot, needs a last round of editingGood plot as usual, just the normal minor grammatical issues and awkward sentence structure like the other books。 Not too bad, but it distracted me in several places when I had to stop and reread a sentence。 I liked that our two MCs go off on more adventures in this one, and we learn some more ten realms lore。 Only thing worth mentioning here is perhaps that, the ending was rather abrupt。 I turned the page fully expecting another chapter of wrap up, but th good plot, needs a last round of editingGood plot as usual, just the normal minor grammatical issues and awkward sentence structure like the other books。 Not too bad, but it distracted me in several places when I had to stop and reread a sentence。 I liked that our two MCs go off on more adventures in this one, and we learn some more ten realms lore。 Only thing worth mentioning here is perhaps that, the ending was rather abrupt。 I turned the page fully expecting another chapter of wrap up, but the book was just… done。 It felt like I missed the last few pages something。 。。。more

Another great addition! This book went back to the same style the first couple of books used。 I felt like his last couple books were getting bogged down in too much detail。 I really enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to where he is taking the story。 Another great addition! This book went back to the same style the first couple of books used。 I felt like his last couple books were getting bogged down in too much detail。 I really enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to where he is taking the story。 。。。more

Nice continuation of the series。 I liked the story continuation, but found it a little difficult to determine who was talking, as compared to the greater clarity of the preceding nine stories。 Pretty good character development, and the action sequences are smooth。 Looking forward to the next chapter to see where the story goes。

Let it ContinueThis one was shorter but I thought it was a good story。 It is good sometimes to have a story where they are not the most powerful and all about getting stronger。 This fills the itch of learning about our characters。
